Privacy Policy.

Last updated: 28 October 2026 · CatchUp, Zagreb, Croatia

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data CatchUp collects, why, and what rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Croatian law.

01 / Data controller

CatchUp, Zagreb, Croatia (founder: Armin Smajic). Contact for all privacy matters: comeandcatchup@gmail.com or armin@catchup-group.com.

02 / What we collect

Community waitlist: your email address and your consent choice.

Business enquiries: your name, venue name, email, phone number and message.

Venue partner contracts: company and representative details, OIB, addresses, contact details, bank details (IBAN), venue information, pricing and signature.

iOS beta: Apple shares limited tester information (such as email, device and crash data) through TestFlight.

Website: basic, privacy-friendly visit statistics (pages viewed, referrer, device type). Your language and theme choice are stored only in your own browser.

03 / Why we use it

To send you CatchUp news and launch updates (based on your consent); to answer business enquiries (steps before a contract); to create, perform and invoice partner contracts (contract and legal obligations); and to keep the website and app secure and improve them (legitimate interest).

04 / Who we share it with

We never sell your data. We use trusted processors to run CatchUp: secure cloud hosting and database providers, an email delivery service, and Apple (TestFlight). They process data only on our instructions. Some providers may process data outside the EU under appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

05 / How long we keep it

Waitlist data: until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion. Business enquiries: up to 24 months after our last contact. Partner contracts and invoicing records: as long as required by Croatian accounting and tax law (generally 11 years).

06 / Security

Submitted data is stored in a protected database that visitors cannot read. Contract data is accessible only to authorised CatchUp staff.

07 / Your rights

You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time by emailing comeandcatchup@gmail.com. You also have the right to complain to the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP, azop.hr).

08 / Children

CatchUp is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

09 / Changes

We may update this policy as CatchUp grows. The date at the top shows the latest version.
